Using Old Paint

Today I set about using old paint that has been sat in the cupboard for ages.

There is a good reason why I want to be using old paint and clearing out trash from the house - a new baby. Now, I used this paint last year to paint the kitchen, but it was starting to look a little grubby.

The odd thing about this paint is that it was given to me by a friend who wanted to get rid of it. Maybe they didn't like the shade of yellow, but it's a big pot of quality Johnstones emulsion, so I was always gonna use it.

In a little over an hour, I gave the walls 2 coats, which freshened everything up and I have recovered a little more space. I just love using old paint!
