America has certainly conformed to the concept of the home security system. We are through with the fear of intruders penetrating our homes. Although a large dog can offer great protection, it is smart to go with a good home security system to protect our loved ones. In this unpredictable world, we never know what is going to happen next.
The idea of a home security system didn't seem to exist when I was growing up. I mean, I knew rich people had security systems, and many businesses, but it wasn't common for most of the country to have one in their homes. I recall never worrying about a breakin, but this was probably due to my father being in law enforcement, plus we were way out in the country. These days it doesn't really matter where you reside, a home security system is typical. The rise in crime over the years certainly has not helped the situation any. Many families feel the need to have some sort of alarm system.
